What is the difference between Ford Escape headlamps and assemblies?

Headlamps alone are lamps that are replaced within the assembly of the Ford Escape SUV. Headlight assemblies are the entire part for the passenger side and driver side headlights and will include glass, housing, connecters, and potentially bulbs.
