A blend door then determines how to mix hot and cool air to achieve the desired temperature. Its function is important because often some warmer air is used when the air conditioning is operational to evaporate the moisture from it and reducing the mugginess of the air flowing into the Sport Tracs interior. A mode door directs the airflow and pushes air either through the dash vents, the windshield defroster vents, or the floor vents.
Another important element of your A/C and heating system is the blower motor. Managed by your A/C and heater controls, the blower motor forces cold or warm air from the heating system through your interior vents and circulates it through the vehicle.
