This lighter has been little used and is in very good condition. After which it has been kept in its box and only taken out for taking photos. This Lighter comes in the original S.T.Dupont Picasso presentation box. There is no booklets or warranty card included. There are some minor fine hairlines when you look form near and very small minor scratches in the golden stripes. Not any scratches around the lacquer. This is a 8 out of 10 rating. At the beginning of the 1960's , Pablo Picasso chose three S.T.Dupont lighters to use in his art. In the Chinese lacquer surfaces, he engraved a Harlequin on one lighter and a Pierrot figure on another, as gifts for his son and daughter-in-law. Today, these lighters are part of the personal collection of Mrs. Ruiz-Picassso. On the third lighter, which he gave to a friend, he engraved a faun, a recurring motif in Picasso's work which is often considered to be a form of self=portrait. S.T.Dupont is proud that its objects were chose by such a prestigious artists and , to commemorate the occasion, has created the limited edition " faun" lighter. This exceptional limited collection consists of 6,000 pocket lighters, 500 table lighters and 500 " secret" carriage clocks. Pablo Ruiz Picasso ( October 25, 1881-April 8, 1973) was a Spanish painter, draughtsman, and sculptor. As one of the most recognized figures n the twentieth-centry art, he is best known for co-founding the Cubist movement and for the wide variety of styles embodied in his work. Among his most famous works are the proto-Cubist Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907) and his depiction of the German bombing of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War, Guernica (1937).
