Seller Notes: “This auction is for a Late 18th Century, Gorgeous and Rare antique porcelain figural inkwell, by ... “This auction is for a Late 18th Century, Gorgeous and Rare antique porcelain figural inkwell, by the famous Conta Boehme. The hand painting is perfect in every detail and the colors are still incredibly bright. There are numerical markings on the underside of the top and on the base. As you can see the lively figural scene of two French Colonial Couples playing cards covers an inkwell duo underneath. The wells have Baroque faces and contain porcelain cylinders which slip out for cleaning. The inkwell is missing it's lid but the Ponce shaker is in great shape. With cover on it measures 7" tall by 9" across by 6 1/2" deep. There are two bottles and two goblets missing from the table top but it is really not noticeable unless you are inspecting it. It is in fantastic condition for its age.”
