Closing the clamp was almost painless, and the actual circumcision was painless. Stitching was slightly painful, but no worse than elsewhere on the body. Overall it was very similar to getting a piercing. No local anesthesia was used. Sugar water was consumed for general analgesia. The clamp removed enough foreskin so that the glans is exposed at all times. Half of the inner mucosal foreskin was left to preserve sensitivity, which is an advantage over other clamps. Great circumcision experience.
