(Important Note: Please be aware that there was no audible sound in the video clips taken by this camera, since the design of this camera is for underwater use) This waterproof digital camera supports up to 32GB SDHC memory card, and uses AAA alkaline battery. Battery lasts for about 2 hours under normal use. For cost saving purpose in the long run, rechargeable AAA battery can be used as a replacement for AAA alkaline battery. "Energizer recharge" AAA rechargeable battery (1000 mAh type) has been tested with this camera and the performance is excellent. As battery is not included in the package, please buy AAA alkaline battery or AAA rechargeable battery to operate this camera. The camera, with its tailor designed housing on, is capable to withstand water pressure under total submerged condition up to a water depth of 50 feet (15 metres). Its maximum operation depth is 50 feet (15 metres) underwater! It weighs 10.5 oz (298g) with battery, housing and strap on, and is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, boating, surfing, skiing, as well as beach and camping activities. A detailed English user manual is included with the camera, while the on-screen operation menu supports English and multiple European languages. Lomography and Underwater Photography As lomographers, you are encouraged to take a lighthearted approach to your photography, and use techniques such as over-saturated colors, off-kilter exposure and blurring. This attitude works for digital camera as well and it applies even in underwater environment. If you take a lighthearted approach in using this camera, you may be able to obtain some imperfect but fascinating pictures in your snapshots. For best results, please use the default 5.0 MP setting for photo taking. The picture quality at the default 5.0 MP (2560 x 1920) is stable and vivid. When the interpolated 12.0 MP mode is chosen, picture quality is sacrificed for the higher resolution. For video filming, the VGA video mode (no audible sound) (640 x 480 at 30fps) give good quality motion pictures.

(B) Install the digital camera into the waterproof housing 1. Load the battery and SD card, and check if all functions work normally; 2. Push the safe lock, and open the rear cover of housing (refer to Housing Manual for details); 3. Visually inspect for dust, sand, hair, or any other objects adhering to the O-ring. If any is found, remove it completely; 4. Load the camera into the housing; 5. Close the rear cover; and 6. Close the latch cover. After closing, push the safe lock back to its original position. (C) Battery Battery is not included. Please buy your own battery. Make sure the AAA battery you use is "alkaline" battery. "Energizer" is a commonly used alkaline battery type which provide a stable performance.
